Plate XXXVI Barbed Hook-Tip Moth
Released in the collection, "A History of British Moths," these lovely hand drawn plates were done by the "parson-naturalist" Rev. F.O. Morris. The first edition was published in 1859-1870, with two more editions being released afterwards. Depicting various moths, Morris showed them with their wings spread, and what's more exciting, the moths were drawn and printed to the accurate size.
